Bella

Lore

Bella likes a map that admits when it does not know. Several magnificent maps have been invited to improve their manners.

From Lakeway’s Moonstone Observatory, the merle Great Dane studies distant lights. Her Moonstone reveals paths the eyes alone can miss. She checks those paths against the ground. A lovely line through a lake is still a rather wet suggestion.

When the Returnglass lost the way home, Bella worked with Willow, Miso, and Mochi to bring the missing travelers back. The lantern-lens trouble was another night. She keeps the notes separate. The universe is confusing enough without filing two disasters in the same drawer.

Her sisters trust her to find a route. She trusts them to tell her when somebody needs to stop. Even light takes time to cross a distance, and a frightened pair of paws may need longer. Bella marks a resting place beside the next turn. Then she looks up again. There is always more sky than paper.
