Citrus / lavender / earthy
A bright curl of morning, without the alarm.
A small purple pause in a very large day.
Earthy leaves with a beautifully unruly past.
Damp green shade where the hurried world gets lost.
Citrus starts the game. Lavender takes a turn nobody expected, while patchouli and moss quietly rearrange the board. Miso studies the rules. Mochi has discovered that the universe is easier to move with one paw.

BEHIND THE EDITION
Miso opened the game box in 1967 and found that the instructions had become a staircase. Mochi rolled a blue marble down it. The staircase looped through Thursday, passed a very nervous sun, and returned beneath the sofa. Nobody had won, although Mochi had eaten one corner of the scorecard.
LASERDOTS kept the afternoon in an amber bottle: little pawns, wandering checkerboards, and two tiny cat heads supervising the cream-colored atomizer. A spiral marble-maze charm hangs from its cord. The marble reaches the center whenever you stop insisting that the center remain where you left it. Miso has requested a more reliable rulebook.
Lose Your Marbles is for the occasional wrong turn that becomes a lovely place to sit. The universe has been moving its pieces for rather a long time. There is room on the board for another small adventure. Mochi has already taken her turn.
