Fausto

Lore

A thunderclap can shake every window in Auraterra. Fausto can shake a visitor almost as thoroughly by greeting them. He is a boxer, and restraint sometimes arrives after the rest of him.

High above the Ribbonwood, he patrols the Skyward Keep in blue and gold. Fog hides the bridges. Bells help travelers find them. When lightning crowds the clouds, Fausto guides it toward the sapphire conductors and away from anyone who was merely trying to get home before supper.

Buddy sends news from the woods. Maca checks the ground below. None of them can watch the whole kingdom, so they share what they notice. It is an excellent system, although Fausto’s tail has occasionally knocked over the map.

After a storm, he leans against his friends and watches the sky clear. The clouds were never angry at them. Weather has its own busy life. Still, a small creature on a very high bridge is glad somebody remembered how small it feels. Fausto remembers. Then he offers another greeting, with supervision.
